  • Dimensions: Approx. 45.7 x 26 x 5.3 mm, with slight variations due to the individual manufacturing process.

Origin of Gold

The gold used for the manufacturing of this unique gold bar was mined by the mining organization CECOMSAP in Peru. Under the umbrella organization CECOMSAP, 10 mining cooperatives have joined forces. They are located in the district of Ananea in the province of Puno, about 4,700 meters above sea level. The area is characterized by cold and snowy weather with temperatures ranging between -10 °C to +10 °C. An association of this kind is an outstanding achievement and opens up the possibility for CECOMSAP to emerge as a strong trading partner.

The fine gold contained in this product is responsibly mined by Fairtrade-certified Artisanal & Small-scale Mining Organizations (ASMOs), fairly traded and certified according to the Fairtrade Standard for Gold and Associated Precious Metals for Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining of Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International e.V. 1. Current Gold Market Price

2. Premium

The premium includes the costs associated with logistics, production, distribution, and marketing, as well as the additional costs that come along with trading Fairtrade gold products, such as auditing costs and separate administration. Ultimately, the premium reflects the higher production costs due to the small amounts of Fairtrade gold products in the market relative to conventional gold products.

3. Fairtrade Social Premium

The Fairtrade Premium is an additional sum of money paid on top of the Fairtrade minimum price for gold, which is directed towards community development projects and initiatives in Fairtrade-certified gold mining communities. This premium is democratically managed by the miners themselves, enabling them to invest in projects such as education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure improvements to enhance their livelihoods and communities. By choosing Fairtrade-certified gold, consumers contribute to empowering small-scale miners and promoting sustainable development within mining communities.

Verschiedene Faktoren beeinflussen ihn, darunter die Angebots- und Nachfragedynamik, Wirtschaftsindikatoren, geopolitische Spannungen und die Anlegerstimmung. Der Spotpreis dient als Benchmark für die Preisgestaltung goldbezogener Produkte und schwankt kontinuierlich je nach Marktbedingungen. 

 2. Marktübliche Prämie

Die marktübliche Prämie umfasst die Kosten für Logistik, Produktion von Feingold, Herstellung von Halbzeugen, Vertrieb und Marketing sowie die mit dem Handel mit Fairtrade Goldprodukten verbundenen Zusatzkosten, wie z. B. Prüfungskosten und separate Verwaltung.
